Shopify has officially released in 2024 the "Trade" theme which includes a layout and partial functionality for B2B Wholesale. This theme also supports partially functionality for Shopify Plus unique features.

Layout
Mostly B2B Wholesale businesses are simple in design, not flashy nor too creative. Therefore, with a relatively dark and simple layout, it fits most wholesale B2B stores.
Features
- Layout Supports Many Products - many b2b businesses have hug catalogs.
- Layout Is Not Too Cluttered - showing majority of products and on product pages only short descriptions, short bullet points and and just buy now (very familiar for wholesale businesses)
- Buy Quickly Browsing - Easily add to cart via homepage, collections and search (no need to visit product page to buy)
- Buy Quickly on Product Page - Easily add to cart one or more variants within seconds.
Missing Features
We hope that the Trade theme will be upgraded in the near future for the following. You may not want to wait and should consider an app to support the following:
- Bulk Add to Cart - a single page that lists all products that you can add to cart (similar to a wholesale purchase order excel sheet with all skus, pricing and quantity)
- Wholesale Registration Form - Easy way to create "become a wholesaler" form. You can use Shopify forms form builder to create it yourself.
